The HSMC is a 100% volunteer organization supported entirely by memberships, donations and gifts.If you aren’t already a HSMC member please consider becoming one (visit www.hsmcil.org for more information). Member or not there are a wide variety of rewarding opportunities available should you choose to become involved in our many initiatives to help animals.Our annual operating budget is approximately $50,000 per year with needs and costs continuously rising.With the enormous commitment of building the new shelter we need more financial assistance than ever.Over the past 12 years the Brix Challenge has raised $236,657.00 because of generous friends such as you.That’s amazing. We simply could not accomplish all that is done to help the animals who need us without that tremendous support.
